Membership in Colorado Ballet Auxiliary (the “Auxiliary”) helps fulfill our mission to support Colorado Ballet. We warmly welcome new members and encourage members to introduce friends to the joys of membership in the Auxiliary. All participants in an Education or Presentation Program must have a parent who is a current member of the Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary has a tiered, fixed term membership structure. The membership term is July 1 – June 30, which corresponds to the fiscal year of the Auxiliary and Colorado Ballet. All new memberships begin on July 1, regardless of which day they are purchased, and the membership registration window for a particular membership term closes on March 31st of that term.

- Invitation to attend a Reception & Rehearsal event hosted by Colorado Ballet’s Advancement Department during the opening week of a ballet performance TBA (selected by Colorado Ballet’s Advancement Department in consultation with the Auxiliary Board).

- Invitation to pre-performance talks at select Colorado Ballet performances
- Access to the Auxiliary’s Dance Dates (select productions per season, excluding The Nutcracker)

NOTE TO AUXILIARY LIFETIME MEMBERS
The lifetime membership category is a prior membership category that is no longer offered by the Auxiliary.
Existing lifetime members are entitled to continue their membership benefits at the “Adagio” tier and, for any Auxiliary membership year, may upgrade the baseline lifetime membership to the “Allegro” tier by paying an upgrade fee (referred to as the “Lifetime+ Upgrade Fee”). The Lifetime+ Upgrade Fee is an amount equal to the difference between the “Adagio” and “Allegro” membership fees in effect for the relevant year. For the 2025/26 membership year, the Lifetime+ Upgrade Fee is $150. All questions regarding Auxiliary lifetime memberships, and requests for instructions to continue or upgrade a lifetime membership, should be directed to the Auxiliary’s VP Finance/Treasurer at kellymcba@gmail.com.
AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIPS, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The Auxiliary has a fixed term membership structure, based on the fiscal year of the Auxiliary and Colorado Ballet (July 1 – June 30). All new memberships begin on July 1, regardless of which day they are purchased, and the membership registration window for a particular membership term closes on March 31st of that term. Any membership purchase transactions between April 1st and July 1st of a particular membership term are credited toward the next membership term, and automatically begin on the July 1st start date of such next membership term.
- Due to the availability of alcohol at certain of the Auxiliary’s adult social events, the minimum age for an Auxiliary Member is twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Auxiliary memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Sub-member accounts are available to a spouse/domestic partner of the primary Auxiliary member who is in the same household as the primary Auxiliary member. Sub-members receive their own account login that is connected to the household and receive all of the benefits of the membership, such as member discounts on events.
